Toy Story 3 (2010)

Standard

Known to be the best movie of 2010, Toy Story 3 won awards from multiple award shows, and also won over the hearts of millions. Whether you are a little kid, who enjoys toys, or just an adult who used to play with toy, memories flood the audiences’ minds throughout the movie. From the the first Toy Story (1995) movie that started Pixar Animation on the right foot, the company and movie have gone very far.

Toy Story seems to have stolen a part of our heart since the very first movie in 1995. Whether it was the fact that Pixar Animation gave life to these toys we played with everyday, or the humor and entertaining plot of the story, everyone nor matter what age loved this series. And with a fourth movie coming out, everyone is excited to see what will happen next! Something unique about the movie is the fact that as the series goes on, the movies get better, unlike most movies this era.

Toy Story 3 is a heart-warmer as well as an emotion-tugger that leaves you always interested what will happen next. Andy is now 17 and ready to head off to college, leaving Woody, Buzz, Jessie, and the rest of the toy-box gang to wonder their uncertain futures. When the toys are accidentally donated to the Sunnyside Daycare center they’re initially overjoyed to once again be played with, but their enthusiasm quickly turns to horror as they discover the true nature of the establishment under the rule of the welcoming “Lotso” Bear. Now, all of the toys must band together in one final, crazy scheme to escape their confines and return home to Andy.

Throughout the movie you will be laughing, smiling, crying, and wanting more, as you say goodbye to the movie that stole your heart as a child, and as an adult. The transition to the ending is a magnificent job by the directors and leaves you in a mixed emotion feeling. I recommend this movie to anyone, any age! Five out of five stars!
